Whenever capitalized phrases are used in the following part of this Privacy Policy, they shall be understood in the sense specified in the Regulations.

 

General information

The Privacy Policy defines the rules of collecting, processing and using personal data obtained from the Users in connection with their use of the Store.

The Users are both the Clients of the Store and all people using the website www.kotwalk.com (hereinafter: “User“, “Users“).

The administrator of personal data and the administrator of the Store is Group ALFA Sp. z o.o. with headquarters in Warsaw, at Żurawia 6/12 app. 423, 00-503 Warsaw; entered in the register of entrepreneurs maintained by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw in Warsaw, XIII Economic Department of the National Court Register, under KRS number 0000697265, NIP 701071924, REGON 368432830; contact details: tel. +48 535 397 139, e-mail: biuro@kotwalk.com  (hereinafter: “Data Administrator“, “Store Administrator“).

The Privacy Policy does not cover information sent by users through other websites, even if the Seller communicates with users through those websites. For example, if a user publishes something via Facebook or Instagram, this information is regulated by the privacy policies of those websites and is not covered by the Privacy Policy.

 

Personal data protection

Personal data of the User or a person acting on behalf of the User are processed by the Data Administrator in order to conclude and perform the Sale Agreement. Providing all data is voluntary, however, it may be necessary for the performance of the Sale Agreement.

Personal data are processed on the basis of the consent given by the User and in cases where the law authorizes the administrator to process personal data or for the purpose of the performance of a contract concluded between the parties.

The Data Administrator limits the collection and the use of information about the Users to the necessary minimum, required to provide services to them at the desired level, according to Article 18 of the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means.

The Data Administrator applies technical and organizational measures ensuring respect for privacy and protection of personal data of the Users.

The User has the right to access, correct and delete his personal data. The personal data may be corrected or deleted after logging into the Customer Account. A User who does not have an Account may modify or delete his data by sending an appropriate request to the Data Administrator, at the addresses specified in § 11 of the Regulations.

 

Cookies policy

In order to improve the functionality of the Store, the Store Administrator declares that he uses cookies. The mechanism of cookies allows the website to be automatically adjusted to the preferences of the person who visits it once again.

Information collected by the Store Administrator will not be made available to entities or people other than those authorized under the provisions of generally applicable law and authorized to manage the website of the Store.

In any case, the User may block the installation of cookies or delete persistent cookies by using the appropriate browser settings. In the case of problems, it is recommend to use the help file of the browser or contact the producer of the browser.

Each User who does not agree to the use of cookies is obliged to modify the settings of the browser. Configuration of the User’s system enabling the use of cookies means consent to collect the information by the Store Administrator, referred to in Article 173 par. 1 and 2 of the Act of 16 July 2004 – Telecommunications Law.

What data are collected when using the Store?

Data collected while using the Store has been described in detail in § 5 of the Regulations. These are: name and surname, invoice address, delivery address, e-mail address, telephone number and as regards entrepreneurs also company name, name of the contact person, tax identification number.

 

Profiling

The Data Administrator accomplishes the functions of obtaining information about Users and their behavior in the following way:

  1. a) by information entered voluntarily in the forms (Registration Form and Order Form);
    b) by collecting “cookies”.

The data provided by the User are processed only in accordance with the purpose for which the User has given his consent (e.g. the implementation of the Sale Agreement).

 

A User who is a Consumer has the right to object to the profiling mechanism at all times. The Data Administrator declares that he has technical tools to enable the User who is a Consumer to express objections.

 

Final provisions

The Data Administrator reserves the right to change the Privacy Policy, which may be affected by the development of Internet technology, possible changes in the law on personal data protection and the development of the Store. The Users will be informed about any changes in a visible and understandable way.
